2001 Subaru Outback 2.5L Limited Edition Mechanic Special. This was a project car for me, been sitting about a year now. I rebuilt the engine...has new oem water pump, new oem head gaskets, new oem head bolts, new gates timing belt kit, obviously fresh oil and coolant, new radiator, before parking I had done the front & rear brakes, has new brake master cylinder, new pistons. Did all of this and it still runs a bit off to me. Transmission was good before I pulled the engine for rebuild and now it is having issues. I have not tried to diagnose either engine or transmission. But I suspect both will need some sort of rebuilding. Also the rear view mirror broke out of the windshield see picture, I have the base and a manual replacement one which is included.Car has brand new tires that only saw 25 miles put on them, new alternator too, A/C system wasn't working when I got the car and was since opened when I removed the engine so it will need to be redone too. Battery is shot from being parked unless you can revive it. Engine also has new valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets and replacement exhaust manifold studs and nuts. I did a lot to this car to get it running again, but it is time to say goodbye as I no longer have the interest nor the time to deal with it.This would be a great fixer for someone who knows more about it than I do. Look at pictures, ask questions if you have any and all mu junk/garbage will be removed before the car is taken. Goes without saying car is currently not running and will need to be towed.
